MATTIA BUCCI AGAIN WITH THE BEST LAP IN ITALIAN GT ENDURANCE WITH THE FERRARI 296
Mattia Bucci will compete in the Italian GT Endurance Championship with Best Lap driving the Ferrari 296. After racing in GT Sprint last year with the same team, the young Abruzzese driver will make his debut in this new category on May 4th at the Misano circuit.
This is an extraordinary opportunity for Mattia, allowing him to compete in the top Italian GT championship, an elite and highly competitive series. Bucci has already proven his speed and talent. We are confident he will give his all and strive to contend for the championship title.
Giovanni Minardi said, “After extensive work over the winter, I am pleased that we have achieved our goal of confirming Mattia within Team Best Lap for the four rounds of the Italian Endurance Championship with a Ferrari 296 GT Cup. Much credit goes to Domenico, Mattia’s father, for his meticulous sponsor search that enabled this confirmation. I am certain that Mattia will give his best, and with the team’s support, we can fight for the championship win. Now, it’s just a matter of hitting the track and showcasing Mattia’s true value.”
Mattia Bucci added, “I am very happy to be on the grid this year in the Italian GT Endurance Championship with Scuderia Best Lap; it’s a new challenge for me that I can’t wait to start. I thank Giovanni Minardi and the entire Minardi Management for their dedication and work to finalize the agreement with the team, Scuderia Best Lap for their trust in me, my family—especially my father—for the tremendous effort he puts in daily to allow me to race, along with all my sponsors, whom I thank for helping me live my dream. I can’t wait to get back on track!”
