A CHALLENGING BUT EDUCATIONAL WEEKEND BETWEEN CAMPILLOS, CASTELLETTO, AND ANNEVILLE

Another intense race weekend comes to an end for our drivers, who competed on multiple fronts: in Campillos (Spain) for the FIA European Championship, in Castelletto (Italy) for the ROK Cup Italy, and in Anneville (France).

It was not a weekend without difficulties, but also full of valuable lessons to build on. Every race, every mistake, every unexpected event is a fundamental step in our young drivers’ growth. We firmly believe that experiences like these, even when the results don’t reflect the hard work, are essential in shaping the future. The right spirit is there, and our drivers will return stronger and more determined next weekend.

Vanesa Silkunaite – DNQ in the FIA European Championship in Campillos (Spain), OKJ Category
This past weekend was a tough one for Vanesa, who gave her all trying to fight and recover positions, but unfortunately without success. Despite the challenges, Vanesa’s grit and determination, her trademarks, were clearly on display. This weekend will certainly serve as a learning experience for her, as she heads home with many lessons. Silkunaite will have the opportunity to bounce back next weekend in Valencia during the Champions of the Future Academy Program.

Nilas Malik – DNQ in the FIA European Championship in Campillos (Spain), OKJ Category
A difficult weekend for Nilas Malik at the FIA European Championship in Campillos. Unfortunately, the young driver didn’t manage to qualify for the final. A disappointing result, but nonetheless an important step in his learning journey. Nilas now needs to reset and reflect on what didn’t go as planned. Even without the desired outcome, this experience will be valuable for his development. We’re confident that with his determination, grit, and eagerness to improve, Malik will bounce back as soon as the next race weekend.

Pietro Bagutti – DNQ in the FIA European Championship in Campillos (Spain), OKJ Category
A challenging weekend for Pietro, who despite his performance, didn’t achieve the desired result. The young driver from Emilia continues to grow steadily compared to previous weeks, showing great maturity on track. Some unforeseen events, out of his control, impacted his weekend, but didn’t shake his determination. He approached each heat with confidence and character. The talent is there, the growth is evident, and his integration into the new category is progressing smoothly. He’s eager for redemption, and we’re confident that results will soon follow the strong performances.

Vladimir Ivannikov – DNQ in the FIA European Championship in Campillos (Spain), OK Category
It was an unlucky weekend in Campillos for Vladimir. Despite once again showing speed and tenacity, he was unable to secure a spot in the finals. Nevertheless, the young driver confirmed his competitiveness and ongoing progress, delivering solid and convincing performances. Unfortunately, bad luck and external circumstances influenced his weekend, preventing him from fighting to the end. However, being aware of his own potential is a crucial element to build from. Vladimir will start again from here, with confidence and determination, ready to turn speed into results in the coming races.

Markas Silkunas – DNQ in the FIA European Championship in Campillos (Spain), OK Category
Markas also competed in the FIA European Championship at Campillos, experiencing a very unlucky weekend that saw him miss out on qualifying for the final. A result that doesn’t reflect his true value, but which Silkunas will have a chance to redeem next weekend at the Champions of the Future Academy Program in Valencia. Despite the difficulties, Markas’ talent has never been in question. The young Lithuanian continues to stand out among the best on the grid, but misfortune seems to have hindered his full potential so far. Markas’ strength will help him get back on track and regain results, making good use of what he learned this weekend.

Julia Angelard – P8 in the ROK Cup Italy in Castelletto, Junior Category
A good weekend for Julia Angelard at the ROK Cup Italy in Castelletto, where she finished in an excellent P8 after a tough and competitive race. The young Polish driver pulled off spectacular comebacks and decisive overtakes, once again proving her speed and determination. Julia continues to progress race after race, showing concrete improvements and a growing maturity. Despite facing challenges, she reacted with grit and heart, showing all her value on track. Her next challenge is just around the corner — next weekend in Valencia, at the Champions of the Future Academy Program — where she’ll be aiming for redemption after the unlucky round in Portimao.

Zack Zhu – DNF in the Ligue IDF in Anneville (France), Junior Category
The last to hit the track this weekend was Zack Zhu, who delivered a strong performance that, unfortunately, wasn’t reflected in the final result. The young French driver showed great speed throughout the weekend, but a crash in the final compromised his chances of securing a strong finish. Zack keeps improving race after race, confirming a steady progression and increasing pace. Even difficult weekends like this are a vital part of a young driver’s development. His chance to turn the page will come as soon as this week, with the first round of the Italian Championship in Ugento, where he’ll be ready to bounce back with determination and confidence in his abilities.
