FRENCH F4 – GRIT AND DETERMINATION FOR VALENTINO MINI AT MAGNY-COURS

After Nogato and Pau Ville this weekend Valentino Mini got to know the demanding Magny-Cours track, the third of seven rounds scheduled for the French Formula 4 Championship.

For the Italo-Panamanian driver it was not an easy weekend as he was immersed in the indifference of the other drivers, dictated by the lack of experience in this championship and with the track since this is his debut season. Despite the difficulties encountered, especially in the first sessions, Valentino took to the track with grit and determination managing to put together of good comeback in race-2, finishing in 13° place after the retirement due to a collision in the final stages of the first race. In race-3 he again placed in the top-15, putting together more kilometres and experience that will be useful for him in the next trip, to Spa-Francorchamps scheduled for July 28-30.

Giovanni Minardi “We knew that the weekend would not be easy for Valentino. Magny-Cours is a track with some complex points and the lack of experience with the track and the car made the difference in the result. Once again he managed to race for many kilometers, putting together a positive comeback in race-2 that in part cancelled the results in qualifying and race-1. Now we will focus on Spa-Francorchamps by programming some days of tests.”

Valentino Mini “We knew it wasn’t going to be easy but I am pretty happy because I have finished eight races in nine and stayed in the top-15. Too bad for the having reached the points zone again. Now I will begin working on the next appointment to improve my performance.”
